English, Computer Science and Health at the lower secondary level — what each one looks like in the classroom, and what students should leave with.

I support clear communication, language practice, and thoughtful expression through classroom learning.
Read the English pagePractical digital skills, taught one small step at a time.
I bring technology into lessons and help students develop practical computer skills.
Read the Computer Science pageEveryday wellbeing, taught with care and honesty.
I teach health topics with care, encouraging students to think about wellbeing in everyday life.
Read the Health pageEnglish, Computer Science and Health look unrelated on a timetable, but they ask students to do the same thing: explain themselves clearly. A student who can write a paragraph, build a slide and describe what keeps them healthy is practising the same skill three different ways.
That is why I teach them as a set. The reading habit from English shows up in Computer Science when a student has to follow written instructions. The research habit from Computer Science shows up in Health when a student checks a claim before repeating it. And the confidence from all three shows up in how students talk to each other.
At Little Moon English Academy I taught all three across the lower secondary level, alongside my responsibilities as class teacher for Grades 6–8. Between November 2023 and April 2025 that meant planning lessons, setting and marking assessments, keeping records, and staying in touch with parents.
If you are looking for a teacher who can cover more than one subject in the same timetable — or one who can take a class group and stay with them — that is the arrangement I know best.
I use activities to make lessons engaging and help students participate with confidence.
I include technology where it supports understanding and helps students build practical skills.
I encourage students to think carefully, ask questions, and work through problems.
I value clear, respectful communication with parents to support students together.
